This rectangular trim part is located on the right side of the glove box on all 1967 - 1968 Mercury Cougars without factory installed AC. This could be referred to as a passenger side AC vent block off plate. Our used pieces taken from parts cars usually need to be painted but sometimes will pass as-is for a driver quality car. Unlike previous reproductions, these feature the correct magenta red background. Due to inconsistencies in the die cast center caps, you may have to trim a sliver off the edge to make them fit perfect. Sold individually.

Nice reproduction that is "almost" spot on. Of the two versions available this one has much more definition. When you put an original next to this reproduction you will notice the original has a more raised, defined face on the Mercury Man.

Reproduction 351 4V AT / MT Emission Decal for 1969 Mercury Cougar / Ford Mustang

Controversy abounds on which shrouds received these and which did not. It is our understanding that no early Cougars came from the factory with this decal installed. This decal first surfaced when Ford had major problems with their flex fans in the early 1970's. We will let you decide if it is correct for your application... This is placed on the top, center of the fan shroud.

Reproduction Detroit Locker Glove Box Decal for the 1967, 1968, 1969, 1970, 1971, 1972 and 1973 Mercury Cougar

Unlike previous reproductions, these have the correct magenta red background and raised lettering.

This is the decal I see on many 1967 Cougars but not 1968. For some reason the majority of 1967 Cougars are missing the decal altogether (unlike 1968 - 1973). My guess is that maybe the adhesive was not as good. I like this decal as it actually shows a Cougar instead of Mustang.

Replaces Ford Part #: C8WB-17093-E. Notice this shows a crude line drawing of a Mustang but in fact carries a Cougar part number. This is the decal seen on most 1968 Cougars but many have a 1967 Mustang part number.
