These are used hose clamps that have a tab and fold over on them selves. These were dipped in a rubber like substance to prevent chaffing. The ones that we have available do have some cracking or damage to this coating. It should be easy to 'dip' them again with the product that is available in most hardware stores. We normally see 2 of these clamps, or straps bundling the hoses on most cars. These clamps should fit a variety of different Ford and Mercury products, not just Mustang and Cougar....

Stamped steel construction with black vinyl coating like the original to prevent corrosion. Please note that vinyl coating will almost always crack along edges shortly after installation, just like the originals did... This clip looks just like the smaller rear deck / trunk lid moulding clip but is larger (as our comparison picture shows). One clip per side is used to attach the tail end (larger end) of the moulding to the extension. Rarely will the clip you get look as good as the pictured here, usually the "finger" will be missing. Used grade A rocker panel clip for the 71 - 73 Mercury Cougar 

Ford part number C9WY-6510198-A. This is the metal rocker moulding clip that attaches the front and rear of the mouldings to the car in 1969 (except the Sport Special which only has them on the rear). In 1970 a Phillips screw held the rear end of the rocker moulding to the quarter panel on each side so just the fronts of the mouldings used these clips in 1970. These little clips are what were used to fasten the dash face pad to the dash bezels on a 1968 standard or decor level Cougar. They are very difficult to come by and we have yet to find a suitable substitute. This is a tool used to remove the clock knob on the 1967 and 1968 standard model. These knobs are held in with a small flat head recessed screw. These are designed to fit into the knob assembly without any play,and are milled to fit the screw slot.
