Cast iron in construction, there are two slightly different brackets for 1967. This part has a casting number of C7OE-9B450-A. This would be the early bracket for Cougars built prior to 1/3/1967. This used original Bendix spacer bracket is mounted to the rear of the brake booster on the 69 - 70 Cougar and Mustang. These spacer brackets sometimes come up missing when purchased from discount booster rebuilders. If you get a booster that has a piece of plate steel and spacers in place of this stamped steel bracket, it is a go around (homemade). This plate differs from repro in that the mounting holes are the correct size and it has the correct relief spacing for the input rod dust boot....
