Concours quality, perfect fit and a great value for the money. These little emblems are often the first thing one sees as they approach your car as they are at eye level. These emblems are located on the "C" pillars of your 67 - 68 Cougar but can also be used on a 71-76 Cougar with little or no modification. These mount on the lower part of the roof behind the quarter windows. This part of the roof is also known as the 'C' pillar. Note that if you want to replace these emblems without disturbing your headliner you will need to drill through the emblem at the location of the studs and install the new emblems using barrel nut clips (item 8303). Note that by installing the emblems with the barrel nut clips instead of speed nuts, you will first have to enlarge the mounting holes to 7/32". This is the only practical way we have found to install new emblems without disturbing the headliner. Sold EACH, two are required per car, comes with attaching speed nuts.
Replaces Ford part # C7WY-6528818-B1.
*NOTE* Attaching speed-nut hardware also sold separately.
Take note as to where the studs are. If you want to remove and replace your old emblems without disturbing the interior headliner you will need to drill through the face of the XR7 emblem in the middle of th X and 7.
