These 1967 XR-7 "hash marks" or "ribs" are being offered as set of 14. Seven of these were used on each side. These are correct only for the 1967 XR-7 but will fit nice on any 1967 - 1970 Cougar and are a nice alternative to the very large aluminum rocker mouldings used in 1968 - 1970 on most models. These are MUCH better quality that what Ford originally put on the Cougar, you will not see any tiny imperfections or casting marks in the chrome plating and no over-spray in the black painted area. These are very attractive looking and give a unique looking alternative to the fragile rocker mouldings that some enthusiasts find to be obtrusive looking.
Included with the 14 ribs are 28 black, oval head Phillips screws (these are very close to the originals which had black painted heads to blend in).
These Attaching screws also available separately.

Customer Feedback 1-18-08: West Coast Classic Cougar ROCKS! You guys are the best for finding and sending out parts promptly. My '67 Xr7 is a family heirloom from my father to my mother and my brother all driving "Greeny". I've been restoring it for years thanks to WCCC. I'm the only family member still living and my Cougar brings the fondest memories of my family. I found a picture of the day my dad brought it home in 1967 recently. In the picture it had the stock hash marks on the rockers, someone over the years had aluminum rocker panel mouldings installed which of course is not stock for 1967. If you can send me a close-up of location and angel of hash marks I'll have the body shop do it right. Many Thanks, From my family to yours. James Kohler, Los Altos CA.
And thank you for your continued support and kind words! Your pictures of where to place the hash marks have been sent.
