    Description

This used to be a decent off-shore quality pair of anodized aluminum mouldings. Our guess is that the tooling is starting to show wear and needs replacing as evidenced by the wrinkles in the corners. We have alerted the manufacturer but they can be slow to act. There are no returns on this blemished, less than perfect part. Ford issued a TSB (technical service bulletin) instructing the Service Departments to drill a hole through the rocker moulding into the lower fender and install a chrome finished phillips screw back in the day due to them falling off. Do know these are the same way and can be difficult to make stay in place at the front wheel. Further complicating the issue is the fact that the clips sold for these are for a Mustang and the clip that goes in front is contoured wrong. Sold as a pair, there is no difference between right and left, clip sets sold separate.

We highly suggest buying the metal version of the rocker panel clip in order to fit correctly. Get them here.

    Replaces Ford Part #: C8WY-6510176.

I bought my 69 Cougar in Jul of '09 as a retirement from the Army gift to myself. From day 1 it had intermittent heating problems that I tried to fix. I changed the radiator, thermostat, water pump, and added 2 12 in 1400 cfm electric cooling...
