    Description

Nice fit! You will need new window gaskets if you plan on changing the headliner. If you are installing the gasket yourself, you will be needing a bedding compound, we like this one here.

    Replaces Ford part # C7WY-6542084.

You can get a feel for what it takes to replace your rear window seal by watching our windshield replacement video.

    Pros:
    Cons:
Just finished installing this seal for the new rear glass on the 67 XR7 and it fit perfectly along with the new retaining clips for the trim.
I was going to reuse the old seal but now see that would have been a huge mistake. The fit is excellent due to the lower corners being molded to the curve of the glass. Total time was almost 2 hours by myself and might take a bit longer if you have not installed a seal before. That includes removal, pre assembly cleaning, and sealant.

Worth the money. If you remove your rear window, don't even think about putting the old seal back in. These are a perfect fit and easy to install. The new soft rubber will be a huge upgrade to your old hard seal for a good price.

I bought my 69 Cougar in Jul of '09 as a retirement from the Army gift to myself. From day 1 it had intermittent heating problems that I tried to fix. I changed the radiator, thermostat, water pump, and added 2 12 in 1400 cfm electric cooling...
