Used / Wrecking Yard Item - 2-5 Business Days (May delay order)
Please Note: Many used items in our picture(s) have been cleaned and/or bead blasted prior to being photographed to show condition and detail. The item you receive will, in most circumstances, be pulled from the donor car and shipped to you without being cleaned. We do not retake pictures each time a used item sells. Pictures are a good indicator of what you will receive, but not all used parts age the same. On high dollar parts, email us and we can send a few pictures of the actual part available.

This is the correct, original gasket for your 1971-73 Mercury Cougar antenna. Not only is it much thicker than the Ford Mustang gasket, but it also has a different overall geometry to it. Gasket mounts under the antenna base, The Mustang gasket will work, but your antenna will always be slightly askew. Unfortunately the high quality reproduction antenna we offer is only available from the manufacturer with a reproduction Ford Mustang gasket. Please remember not to discard your original Cougar gasket when buying the new antenna from us. If you buy our antenna kit, we offer this original gasket at a reduced price, please see our 1971-73 Mercury Cougar antenna listing for details in the reproduction list found in our audio section.

    Replaces Ford part number D1WA-18898-AA.
