"I wanted to share some information on my earlier email asking about installing the vertical felt runner “with” the window regulator already installed. This time I used Seal Glide lubricant along with some PB Blaster spray lubricant inside some of the channel (middle to bottom) guide. I came across the same issue again pushing it about half way down. This time I managed to put on some mechanics gloves and then cracked the window around to the point where I could just barely get my arm in.
Once inside the door, I ended up reaching out to the bottom of the rubber insert and I managed to gently “pull” the bottom down and then reseated back inside the channel. To my surprise it made it easy then to pull the top piece up to the where the hole lines up on the top of the window frame where I finally was able to screw it in.
