    Reproduction rocker moulding / trim end clip for the Mercury Cougar. This clip is a steel clip with a wire like the original. These units are technically for the 1969 and 1970 Cougar, but they will also work well with the 1968 rocker moulding / trim. Four of these clips were used on all 1969 Cougars except for the Sport Special which used two. The 1970 Cougar also uses two per car. Sold individually.

    Will work on 71-3 with modification.

    The existing clips for my 68 model have plastic on the fender side, I'm guessing to prevent scratching the paint. I also don't see any evidence of the spring you show. I just want to confirm these will work, and how many are needed? I think there were only two total, but could be wrong on that.

    These are the only option for this type clip, the originals for 68 did have plastic but this clip does not. These are technically the 69 version but will work on 68. 2 per side, 4 per car.
