This plate has three bumps, we have found a Ford number of C9OZ-6269-A, this may be a service replacement number and could be found on engines built earlier than 1969. We have found this style of 289's from 1967. There is another version with Ford number C2OZ-6269-A, it only has two bumps.

Used air cleaner base plug, plugs the area pre cut from the factory. Typically found on 70 - 73 Cougar and Mustang.

Brass screw in plug for select Autolite distributor vacuum advance units from 1968-71, typically the banded single advance units factory installed. Solid brass, originals were not, we believe that they were cadmium plated. Solid plug, should be hollow, with a 3/4 inch hex head. Works as it should. Fits most all vacuum advance that have a plug in the end as shown. *Note, when removing the old plug, there is a spring and washer inside. 

These are always rock-hard so if you plan on removing a seat and do not want to boil your old rubber parts to make them pliable enough to reinstall then you will want to pick a set of these up. Plug size: 1 1/2"   also used for the electric headlight conversion kit for the firewall pass through body plug.  

This plug will work on your 69 - 73 Standard or XR7 as well as the 69 - 73 Mustang. This plug housing is used to connect the under dash main loom to the gauge cluster.
