This air cleaner was used on the 1967 GT Cougar only. It was possible to order a 390 GT motor for your Cougar without ordering the 390 GT package. Cougars equipped with the 390 6.5 Litre engine that did not come with the GT package would have used the air cleaner with a long tapered snorkel and painted lid. No more crust, white powdery battery terminals. Just spray this stuff on, and after a few minutes....simply wash off with water! Not only can you use this stuff on your car, you can use it on your ATV's, quads, dirt bikes and even your ride on lawnmower! A handy item to have laying around your garage. Of course, there's a little more messy, mostly free alternative which you can find the ingredients for online, but why bother? This is a simple, fairly cheap product to have.
