    Pros:
    • high quality led
    Cons:
    • cool white temp
These are not cheap LED bulbs you get on ebay or amazon. These are a nice quality led that fits as it should. They are very bright and a huge improvement over a normal bulb. They do have a "cool" white temp to them which is my only negative but I did expect that based on the photos in the description. I much prefer a more natural light temp around 4500-5000* vs the 6000* temp of the cool white bulbs but these are simply backup bulbs that are rarely on.

    drip dr Asked:
my chart says 68 mustang should use 1142 bulb in rear back up lights. same as 1156, or 1076 bulb? looking to convert to plasma led.

    Answer
    WCCC Admin Answered:

The Cougar does not use an 1142, so I did a Google search and found a couple sites that list 1142 as crossing with an 1152 or 1157: led bulb cross reference

We have 1157 LED bulbs, but not currently in white (although we may offer that in the future).

Why am I being warned about potential exposure to chemicals in motor vehicle parts?

    • Some chemicals in motor vehicle parts are on the Proposition 65 list because they can cause cancer and/or birth defects or other reproductive harm.
    • When purchasing USED or NOS items, we do not know if listed chemicals are present in these products.
    • This product is known to contain the following listed chemicals:
WCCC hooked me up with an original glove box cable and the correct screws WITH shoulders for my glove box. Their listing for these screws explains that the original screws have a shoulder for the cable and most people put in the wrong screws--which...
