This driver side moulding is correct for convertible. On convertibles the top portion is trimmed to allow it to slide under the sun visor bracket. The engineering number imprinted on the back is D1ZB-6503599 for 1971-1972 and D3ZB-6503599 for 1973. Convertibles show the same casting numbers on the part, but are a modified before assembly. Good set of four diecast original top mouldings for both two tone paint Cougar hardtops and 1970 Cougars with a factory installed Hounds-Tooth checkered vinyl top. Unique to 1970 convertible only. Only with stock steel wheels and hubcaps. J bolt MPC lists the length as 6-1/4 inches, with 4 inches on the end threaded but actually there are only 2 1/2" on the threads. Threads 1/2-13.
