This D3ZZ-17830 rubber strip is actually intended for a 1973 Ford Mustang rear bumper but properly modified they do work nicely on a 1973 Cougar front bumper that requires impact strips. These are "substitute" parts and will involve bending them to the contour of your bumper, trimming them on one end and drilling three holes in your bumper.
