Description

Features two 4 ohm 3 1/2" coaxial two way speakers. Huge improvement over the factory single speaker and no modifications needed. This unit is for all 1967-73 cars with or without in-dash factory AC. In Non-A/C cars, this speaker may partially crush the vent duct tube.

Just ok

There isn't exactly a huge selection of dual speakers that fit where this does. Easy to mount and makes up for the fact that 71 -73 door speaker cars have nothing in the dash. Be nice if they sounded better.

May to slightly modify mouting plate

Bought the speakers for my '68 base w/AC and had to slightly modify the mounting plate to install.

The minimum clearance required to use the speaker mounting studs is 7-3/8" The mounting plate offers 7-1/4" clearance. Had to remove 1/16" material from the mounting plate to get it to fit.

Another caveat is the need to loosen the defroster duct to mount the speakers.
