1970 Mercury Cougar Upper Steering Column Dash Filler "Grade B" - Used Plastic filler piece that goes over the steering column and bridges the instrument cluster portion of the dash pad. Of the three covers used on the 67-73 Cougars we find this one the most difficult to use. Will Not Work On Badly Distorted Dash Pads. The problem is not with the product but rather the design of the original dash pad. Unlike the 69-73 pads the 67-68 pads are prone to warping (sagging) badly.
