    Description

    Please Note:

Many used items in our picture(s) have been cleaned and/or bead blasted prior to being photographed to show condition and detail. The item you receive, in most circumstances, will be pulled from the donor car and shipped to you without being cleaned. We do not retake pictures each time a used item sells. Pictures are a good indicator of what you will receive, but not all used parts age the same. On high dollar parts, email us and we can send a few pictures of the actual part available.

"Core" Items: If we use the word "Core" in the title of the product, the item has been deemed rebuildable, but has not been rebuilt.  The item you receive, in most circumstances, will be pulled from the donor car and shipped to you without being cleaned.

1971-72 Front unibody cut with cowl. This cowl has the holes for the factory air conditioning. 1973 frame rails are constructed differently for the energy absorbing front bumpers.

Excellent value! Please consider a front clip replacement for your vintage 1967-73 Cougar or Mustang - including fastbacks! No differences exist between the front understructures of a Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang year for year. How many hours of labor is needed to replace individual aprons, towers, radiator supports, torque boxes, cowl sections? 100's of hours to Remove and replace correctly. These front clip sections were built by Ford in both San Jose (1968) and Dearborn (all years). The reproduction pieces are nice, but each piece will  have to be fit together precisely, each and every one of them.

1969 Cougar front sections all come with wrap around shock tower bracing. Just like the 1969 Mustang Boss and Cobra Jet cars. 1970 Cougar front sections all come with wrap around shock tower bracing - and the punched holes for the Mustang twist lock hood locks on the radiator core supports.

We will cut through the "A" pillars and all the way to the seat front risers so you will get the cowl, firewall and more. We will cut to suit and adjust the price accordingly. You will need to arrange your own trucking company shipping method. Shipping and crating can run as much as $1000 depending on size and weight. We never have more than one or two of these in really good shape in stock as it is very hard to find one with a good cowl, aprons, perfect shock towers and straight core support all in one unit. We have them with or without factory air conditioning. Most will have the factory holes for the disc brake distribution blocks drilled and the insert for the power steering ram cylinder brackets.

*NOTE* Excludes convertibles! These will not be an exact fit for convertibles because they have much thicker rocker rails. However, they can be modified.

You will have to call to order this one, 503-463-1130.

I bought my 69 Cougar in Jul of '09 as a retirement from the Army gift to myself. From day 1 it had intermittent heating problems that I tried to fix. I changed the radiator, thermostat, water pump, and added 2 12 in 1400 cfm electric cooling...

My 1971 Cougar XR7 was retrofitted with a Ford “400”, Edelbrock intake and 4 barrel carb, TCI Street Fighter trans, B & M Hammer shifter, and dual turbo exhaust. While this sounds interesting, the Cougar itself was seriously neglected and...

WCCC hooked me up with an original glove box cable and the correct screws WITH shoulders for my glove box. Their listing for these screws explains that the original screws have a shoulder for the cable and most people put in the wrong screws--which...

I have been a cougar owner for just shy of 30 years, I have been dealing with part problems for a very long time. The people at WCCC have always be honest, and overly helpfull. I now have a 1970 XR-7 mostly rebuilt, and my son has a 1968 base...

What did you LIKE about your experience? * : I am fairly new to WCCC, four or five orders (at the time of writing), but I am blessed to have found WCCC for sure. I had a small problem, couldn't find anything to work for the condensation drain on my...

I have made many purchases online with WCCC but chose this time to make a 1400 mile round trip and visited them in person. I brought a van load of parts with me that needed a home. Don helped unload them then quickly assessed the value which I...
