Description

For all 1969 and 1970 Cougars with H code 351-2V and M code 351-4V engines and FMX automatic transmissions. This part weighs 2.66 pounds and when set on a level surface the height of the mounting hole on the driver side measures 3" on center and the passenger side 3 1/8" on center. Ford part number C9ZZ-6A023-A.

*NOTE* The picture with all four crossmembers in a line shows the three versions of the small block C-6 and FMX units in the foreground and the last is the big block C-6 unit. Notice the height difference.

351W and C-6 swap into a 68 cougar

After replacing my c-4 with a c-6 , mounting alignment of the tranny crossmember was not correct wasn’t sure what to do till talking with WCCC these guys are always on the ball and know which direction to send you to solve your problems big thumbs up to them all
