This mirror nut for the 70 - 73 Cougar or Mustang is made from stainless steel, as compared to the other reproduction we offer which is made from die cast metal. A few benefits of the stainless steel nut is that the finish on it will not tarnish over time, and that it cannot be cross threaded.

D2AZ-14A163-K Black plastic ring that barely fits over the PCV hose. Ring end locks into the D1AZ-6788-A hose bracket. Fits all 1972-73 351 engines, both 2V and 4V engines. This retaining ring came from Ford's electrical section.

These are economy replacement hoses by Scott Drake. Aftermarket type hoses without original Ford markings in most cases. Made in the U.S.A. This hose is the hose most Mustang / Cougar parts vendors offer. It is a rubber flex hose with economy fittings. Use caution when tightening these down as they are susceptible to stripping if you torque them to the specs called for by FORD. If your original is pitted or has come apart this will be a clean, crack free used replacement that will easily snap in place. We have a reproduction, but the finish is rougher, as shown in the comparison photo. There were originally two versions of this switch: the one shown with both round contact points in plastic, and another which had one in metal.

This carries a 1967 part number but is in fact a 1968 door as evidenced by the wide pull knob. Replaces Ford Part #: C0AB-6423240-B. Four required per car, two per side. If your quarter glass is loose in the track and will not roll up and down these rollers are most likely the culprit. New Permatex RTV gasket dissolver, good for all makes, models, and years. Use this stuff when you want to remove any remnants of those old worn out silicone gaskets made with any of the common gasket makers. Handy item to have on hand so you dont have to keep using your putty knife or screwdriver! 

The 69-73 looks the same as the earlier version once installed but the casting number will read C3AA-4906-C on the early unit and C9OA-4906-A on the 1969-73 version. We have found a few rubber bumpers marked D3Z... very few. See other listing for that one..
