The 69-73 looks the same as the earlier version once installed but the casting number will read C3AA-4906-C on the early unit and C9OA-4906-A on the 1969-73 version. We have found a few rubber bumpers marked D3Z... very few. See other listing for that one..

Unfortunately the premium version is no longer available.  This version is made of a softer compound than the original bumpers and will not hold up as long as the originals did on a Cougar due to the force that the actuator exerts.  Sold as a Pair. Check out this video Check out this video

These were installed only on early production 1967 Cougars but can be installed on any 1967 Cougar. Later in the year they quit installing these and just used a rubber plug to fill the hole. 1968 was not drilled for these. Sold as a pair.
