These are the caps placed on the inside of the rear marker reflectors to protect your trunk's contents from damage. These Reproductions are grey. Reproduction side marker light socket with harness set. For all 1968 Mercury Cougar and Mercury Montego and Cyclone. This listing is for a pair of wiring harnesses with light sockets. The original sockets were a snug fit in the fender light housings. The D0WY-15A434-LSM LED Side Marker Light Adapter kit is required when the C9WY-13A366-AL or the TS-400 Sequential controller is installed with LED front turn signal and LED side marker bulbs on most 1970 and up Ford vehicles. The chrome body carries a C8GB-15A428-B engineering number and the pigtail has a C8WB-15A442-A engineering number imprinted on the wire. We usually only have one or two in stock of this caliber so do not be surprised when you try to place this in your cart and it shows 0 quantity. This grade "B" light bezel will have minor blemishes in the chrome as shown. Good part for a driver as it will not have deep pits. Does not include pigtail or lens. Left is the same as right. To remove pigtail from your existing light wrap socket in cloth to protect and grip firmly with a pair of pliers, rock back and forth while pulling and the plug and socket assembly should come right out from the back side. Replaces Ford part # C8WY-15A201-C.

Ford never offered this socket / plug assembly on its own but we do from time to time get one that has a clean socket and no cuts in the wiring. You can often just twist and pull (after the bulb has been removed) and it will come right out of the chrome housing. The Ford engineering number imprinted on the wire is C8WB-15A442-A.
