This kit is for the LATE 1968 Cougar, we also list the EARLY 1968 version. There are minor differences between the two. This basic kit will save you many hours on your grille restoration especially if you do not own a bead blasting cabinet or the specialty power tools needed to separate the chrome grille bars from the grille assembly. Reproduction grommet that seals the heater hoses and A/C lines where they pass through the firewall on the passenger side. Made from closed cell foam, as opposed to the originals being rubber.* Note - Used starting during the later part of 1969. Compare the evaporator line orientation for both years.

Used firewall grommet for the under dash harness. This grommet is actually part of the actual wiring harness, but every once in a while we have bad harnesses that we "part out" for pigtails or items such as this.    

These are reproduction heater hose grommets for the heater hose to pass through the firewall. Most of the firewalls that we have seen have a flared opening for the hose without a grommet. These are a more dense rubber than our other versions. Still not sure that they are needed?

This is the harder to find tail pipe hanger as it was only used on dual exhaust cars. Will have usable but cracked rubber. Mounts to the frame on the left side of the fuel tank. Pair of used wire anchors for keeping the rear most headliner bow stationary. These are fragile wires, and prone to rusting. Ford part number D2AZ-9A603-D (outer section) and D2AZ-9A603-B (inner section) make up this two piece metal shroud for all 1972 - 1973 H code 351-2V engines. The outer shield section is common to both 2V and 4V 1972 - 1973 351c engines but the inner is unique to the 2V.

D1AZ-9A603-A Metal shroud for all 1971 351 engines including H code 351-2V and M code 351-4V. One piece design uses a paper and aluminum tube to bridge to the air cleaner snorkel.

Ford part number D2AZ-9A603-D (outer section) and Ford part number D2AZ-9A603-C (inner section) make up this two piece shroud for the 1972 - 1973 Q code 351-4V engine. This inner shield conforms to the 351-4V cast iron exhaust manifold only and the outer portion fits both the 2V and 4V.

Grade A exhaust manifold heat shield for any 1970 Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang with 351C engine, 2V or 4V, it doesn't matter. Uses a separate, small diameter metal tube (part number D0OZ-9652-A) that attaches to the 1970 Cleveland air cleaner snorkel.
