Up for grabs is something special for the serious collector of everything Cougar. This is an official press release document with attached 8x10 glossy photo of the 1970 Houndstooth Cougar. These were prepared by the Lincoln Mercury Public Relations Department for immediate release to newspapers in order to spread the word about new and exciting announcements. This particular release features a glossy black and white photo of a woman dressed in a "Swashbuckling Houndstooth Cape" inspired by womens fashion designer Pauline Trigere, and details when and where these new Cougars will be displayed.
Document 70-7555, dated 2/3/70 and stamped Jul 24 1970 on the bottom back corner.
We hesitate to call these NOS for the simple fact that photos and paperwork can't be classified as NOS, and once they're read, they technically become used. But make no mistake, these are original, near perfect condition documents from the Lincoln-Ford Division.
