Product Condition Grades
Below is a general description of what the criteria is for our product condition grades. These are generalizations that are intended to give you an idea of the condition of the product at a quick glance. Because different parts degrade at different rates, there are variances in what the letters represent, please see the products description for details about the condition of any particular product.
A = Excellent / Above Average
B = Average / Some flaws / Good to Excellent Driver Quality
C = Obvious flaws / Poor to Average Driver Quality
D, E, F = Worse, Worser, Worsest
Used original heat riser / S tube for 1968, 1969, and 1970 Cougar and Mustang 428 Cobra Jet / Super Cobra Jet. These will seldom be available. The one pictured above is the best example we've ever seen - removed from the car in 1969 just days after purchase. The pictures below are a more realistic example of the used condition you might expect. There are also additional comparison shots next to the reproduction S tube we also sell. The differences are small but the most obvious is the fact that the original has a slight taper where the snorkel mates to it.
