These reproductions are fantastic quality! We sent NOS originals to Scott Drake to duplicate and they could not have done a better job. They come with the original type barrel clip fasteners and feature die cast frames with correct pin placement. These emblems are correct in every detail. We are really excited about these as it was said that they could never be done at a reasonable price without compromising quality. These are better than the $650-$750 NOS emblems you used to see occasionally on ebay in that the chrome is superior, the modern paint is less prone to UV deterioration, the fastening system for the lens to frame are more secure and the pins are stronger than those found on originals. Sold as a pair. Below are some pictures of a 1967 Cougar in our yard with original paint. These photos will be helpful for those who have had new 1/4's installed and need to know where to drill the holes. Our suggestion is that you only use our pictures to locate the first hole and then set your emblem level on the car and depress the studs into the paint hard enough to make a slight mark. We sometimes have emblems in stock with minor blemishes at a substantial discount. Give us a ring to check on availability 503-463-1130.
These pictures are all of the driver side quarter panel on an original 1967 Cougar. Even though the studs are placed differently (vertically) ps to ds the distance to the rear 1/4 (where it comes to a point) is the same.
