Spare Tire Mount Wing Nut Reproduction for the 1968 through 1973 Mercury Cougar / Ford Mustang

For 1968 Ford standardized or changed all of the J-bolt threads to the beefier 1/2"-13. We have noted two variations of this wing nut. The most obvious identifier between the two is the tabs in the center. The majority have these tabs present, the minority do not. We also stock and carry the correct disc or hold down plate, and the J bolt. Lots of sizes and lengths for those. Do you have the correct one?

This is the set of six bolts needed to attach the pivot section of the wiper arms to the cowl on 1969-1970 Cougars and Mustangs. Three bolts needed per side, six per car.

Used and reusable backup lamp socket and wiring assembly for the reproduction reverse light chrome housings or to replace a damaged lead in your original 1969-70 Mercury Cougar reverse light. This light socket assembly uses the 1156 bulb. NOTE: These sockets are crimped from the factory and are difficult to remove. When re-installing, there won't be much "meat" left to flare out inside the bezel and you may run into issues with getting a good ground.

This is the engine gauge loom that runs from the coil, temp. sender and oil sender to the pigtail on the firewall. Designed for the 1971 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang. Reproduction Wire Loom Mounting Kit for the 1968 Mercury Cougar / Ford Mustang

Small retaining ring that secures the engine gauge feed wiring harness to the driver side valve cover. Two were used per engine. We found this part in the 1971-72 Mustang Electrical Assembly Manual. To be used with original wiring harnesses, the reproduction engine gauge feed harness does not have the clips to attach to this retainer.Ford part number D2AB-14A163-MA.
