This tube is embedded into the cylinder head making it rather difficult to remove intact. Note that the nut and ferrule assembly is made of two pieces, with the ferrule being a compression fitting used to secure the smog tubes to a series of ports on the cylinder head. Sold individually, 8 total needed for smog installation. Application is 1967 - 1970 390, 427. 428CJ engines. In 1975 Ford started making these out of stainless steel. Specific to 1968 302-2V, and 302-4V all with manual transmissions - 3 speed or 4 speed. Same tube both sides, sold singly as a bare tube without installation hardware. California emissions 351-2V air cleaner snorkel. DSO 52 and DSO 53 Cougars with H-code 351-2V engines.

This snorkel was found on the XR7-G model with a 390 or 428 engine with the tall pent roof finned aluminum valve covers. The HERTZ model with the 390 engine used a chrome "Powered By Ford" chrome valve cover and did not need the extra length in the extension. This is a refurbished snorkel made from original parts. Very high quality construction.Ford part # C8WY-9A626-B.

This one year only, 1969 S code 390-4V or 390IP (Improved performance). Same jog as the 428CJ snorkel. It is technically a 428CJ snorkel with the addition of an adapter on the heat riser opening reducing it down for use with a 2 inch I.D. paper "S" tube. Ford part number C9OZ-9A626-C.

Application would be for only 1971 Cougars with the 429CJ option, either ram air or non-ram air. This is a 1968 only part that is correct for Cougars equipped with the 390 GT "S" code motor. Whether your Cougar has the GT package or not, as long as it has a 4V 390 motor, this is the correct snorkel for your Cougar. The internal dimensions of the opening at the air cleaner base end measure 4 1/8" X 2 3/16", the flange mounting holes measure 5 1/2" on center. The opening for the S tube is 2 3/4". C7SZ-3D600-A  Power steering pump adjusting spacer for use without air conditioning. Used spacer for the lower windshield moulding, also called an 'anti rattler'. 4 of these plastic pieces were used per car. Nice unused space saver spare tire for a Ford. Vintage Good Year brand tire with size F78-14. BF Goodrich is another common brand of tire installed for use with unique storage location, hold down, and inflation bottle. This one does not appear to have been inflated or used on the road. Still has the nubs on the face of the tire as shown.

This 5 spoke shield was used to protect the spare MagStar wheel from damage inside the trunk. We currently have one in black and one in gray, both are in mint condition. These were obtained from the Tom Sensabaugh estate, and are very hard to come by.

New internal speedometer gear fits 4 speed toploader transmissions. The largest number of 4 speed toploaders came stock with this gear. Replaces Ford Part #: C4DZ-17285-A.

This clips affixes the plastic speedometer gear to the cable. Some have found that this OEM original clip fits a little better than the reproduction we offer. *Trivia* Did you know the first Cougar cast for production in 1968 was this "Custom Cougar"? This is a good used speedometer cable from a 1969 - 1970 Mercury Cougar with a FMX transmission. The cable housing has no burns and the fragile plastic squeeze clip that fastens it to the back of the speedometer is not broken. Keep in mind that some 1970 models use a two part cable. This cable will work in place of the two part cable seen on some 1970 cars. This cable measures 58 1/2" at its very most outer ends.
