    Description

Finally! A correct looking and fitting quality mirror for the passenger side of your 1967-68 Cougar. This is NOT a Mustang part made to "kind of work". For years our customers have called almost weekly asking for the "RARE" 1967-68 right hand outside mirror listed in their owners manual as an option available at their local "Lincoln - Mercury Dealer". The intention may have been to offer one but it actually never came to be...   This product has been getting great reviews in the Cougar community. Don't forget to select a gasket (uses same as the driver side) and mounting hardware for this item if needed.

*NOTE* This mirror is now available with a convex lens. Printed on the lens for the convex version are the words "Objects In Mirror Are Closer Than They Appear". Also note that these mirrors do not come pre-adjusted. There are two adjustments that will have to be made, the first is located inside the hollow mirror base and the second is on the backside of the head (Phillip's Screw).

    Hole spacing: 4 3/8"

    Pros:
    • Great part to add to Cougars
    Cons:
I was really glad to find this on the catalog, as I've gotten so used to using my side mirror on my "modern" cars for parking, turning, etc. The video of Don installing the mirror helped make this a no-brainer installation, and the suggestion of using the riv-nuts worked well. I did find when using the riv-nut for the second hole that it seemed to stick a lot, but it went in solid and the mirror mount and mirror itself are both solid on the car. Now I won't be in danger of scraping the right side of car car in tight parking situations. I love the little things that help make my '68 Cougar easier and fun to drive!

    Pros:
    • Matches my factory drivers side mirror
    Cons:
I was really disappointed with the quality of bumps in the Chrome and mirror face for this $200.00 mirror , see pictures. WCCC promptly offered to exchange it but wouldn't send me a return shipping label and I wasn't paying a penny more to make this right. I finally called Scott Drake/Holley customer service sent them the pics and they immediately sent out a replacement and didn't want the defective mirror back. Now that's customer service. Do yourself a favor get these mirrors from other vendors for less money, they are not worth $200.00

Happy with the purchase...nice quality and fitment. Was easy to install after watching the video, although I primed/painted the cut hole. The mirror came with the Scott Drake base pad, so there wasn't a need to purchase one.

If Mercury had made a passenger mirror, this would be it. Nice, solid, and a mirror image (no pun intended) to the driver side mirror, less the remote control. Other than drilling the correct measurements on the passenger door, installation is not difficult. For those of us old enough to remember when passenger mirrors were non-existent or an option, it is nice to have and does add symmetry to the vehicle. You will not be disappointed if you purchase this mirror. Thanks, WCCC!

Beautiful RH mirror for my 68 XR7. Only downside is now I need to replace my original left hand pitted remote mirror to match the shine from this new one.
