This is for your three or four speed manual transmission 1970 Cougar. The 70 is unique over the 69 in that it does not have a provision for your seat belt buckles. Absolute perfection in every detail, if all reproductions were this nice there would be no market for used parts. This unit has no alignment holes for the woodgrain bezel for those that prefer the cleaner look.

This is for your three or four speed manual transmission 1970 Cougar. The 70 is unique over the 69 in that it does not have a provision for your seat belt buckles. These little rivets are used to affix the ID tag to the passenger side of the 3 and 4 speed top-loader transmissions. Most tags are held in place by two rivets but on some only two are used from the factory.
