Product Condition Grades
Below is a general description of what the criteria is for our product condition grades. These are generalizations that are intended to give you an idea of the condition of the product at a quick glance. Because different parts degrade at different rates, there are variances in what the letters represent, please see the products description for details about the condition of any particular product.
A = Excellent / Above Average
B = Average / Some flaws / Good to Excellent Driver Quality
C = Obvious flaws / Poor to Average Driver Quality
D, E, F = Worse, Worser, Worsest
Note: The set you receive may not be the ones pictured and will usually be in better condition than shown. The chrome bezels will all be in good matching condition, unlike the blemished one in the picture. Call if you need more details or to check inventory on colors.
Used pair of dual post head rests for the Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang. These ultra rare head rests were an option in 1968 only and may come with some slight blemishes. Your 1968 Mustang / Torino / Thunderbird / Cyclone seat frames are already drilled for this hardware set but you will have to bore 7/8" holes in your foam at the top of your seats to install these. The plastic chrome screw-in bezels are bound to have cracks in the threaded area from age, cracks in the threaded portion do not affect the function and of course cannot be seen once installed. The Ford Mustang, Shelby, Standard Cougar and Decor Cougar all use a 3 1/2" long bezel, only the Cougar equipped with the XR-7 interior package utilizes the 4" long bezel due to the thicker seat foam found in the more deluxe XR7 seats. We rarely have more than one pair in stock at any time so you will have to call if you are concerned with getting your color.
