Delicate clip that attaches to a nail-head stud attached to the firewall. Very functional and visible, rather hard to find in unbroken condition.

This fragile little clip attaches to the bottom outer edge of the front fender extension and holds the tail of the aluminum eyebrow moulding to the extension, one per side. This clip looks just like the smaller rear deck / trunk lid moulding clip but is larger (as our comparison picture shows). One clip per side is used to attach the tail end (larger end) of the moulding to the extension. Rarely will the clip you get look as good as the pictured here, usually the "finger" will be missing. Used clip for mounting the vacuum modulator steel line or tube on 1967-68 Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang with C4 or automatic transmission. These little clips are what were used to fasten the dash face pad to the dash bezels on a 1968 standard or decor level Cougar. They are very difficult to come by and we have yet to find a suitable substitute. This is a tool used to remove the clock knob on the 1967 and 1968 standard model. These knobs are held in with a small flat head recessed screw. These are designed to fit into the knob assembly without any play,and are milled to fit the screw slot.
