    Description

Spot-On reproduction from WCCC! C8OE-B Application for 1968 includes all 390-2V, 390-4V, 427-4V, and 428 Cobra Jet engines with and without air conditioning. 1969 application is only the S code 390-4V engine, with or without air conditioning.

Fan description - 7 blades and 18-1/4 inches in diameter. Fan does not include thermal fan clutch. We do sell a Hayden replacement fan clutch. Replaces Ford master part number C8OZ-8600-A.

This fan will also work on many small block applications. We hope to soon have a list of other known applications where this fan will work, even though it did not come factory equipped. Dealer inquiries welcome!

Our reproduction fans come with a lifetime warranty. Each fan has been balanced beyond factory specifications and will withstand RPM's far beyond what any V-8 can achieve.

In addition to all the original big block applications, these fans offer an excellent upgrade for any small block Ford that has been transformed into a modern day, high performance power-plant. More horse power means more heat and almost nothing will kill an engine faster than excessive heat. Even if you do not have a high performance engine, just boring your cylinders in the process of doing a stock rebuild will often tax your cooling system significantly. Ford referred to this fan as the "Power Booster Fan" in their sales literature. The thermal clutch governs how fast the fan will spin. During start up, cold day, and moderate freeway driving, this fan is basically free wheeling. In addition to providing maximum cooling when called upon, this fan is designed to save you fuel, add horsepower and reduce engine noise!

As soon as I opened the box I was very impressed with packaging with this product. It was very well protected from rough shipping. The finish was very nice! I didn't really want to spend this much on just a fan, but it's very well worth it. I have a 67 Mustang Fastback with a 68 style 24" radiator with a/c. So I need the best possible cooling during the hot Texas summers. So for my temps never go much past 180 degrees.

Watching the WCCC YouTube video "Radiator and Fan Upgrade - Small Block Cougar / Mustang 1967-70" is what persuaded me to purchase it.

    Big improvement

If you are running a big block, this fan is definitely worth it. I installed this along with the clutch and a new radiator and my S code is running much cooler now. This fan pulls so much air that the temperature actually drops when I sit in traffic vs. cruising speed.
