Also, the backing is a white felt material which is prone to trapping moisture and causing your roof to rust. The original tops had a more durable canvas-like backing. Voltage regulator for the 1968, 1969, and 1970 manufactured before 9/15/1969 that is not equipped with factory AC. This regulator has "C8AF-10316-A" printed on to it, actual Ford Part number is C3SZ-10316-B or D4TZ-10316-A. This is Ford Regulator Number GR-341. Washer or spacer for heating and air conditioning box levers or shafts. Fits 3/16 inch studs or rods. In most cases you will also want to get a push on retainer to keep secure.

#373820-S Copper washer for attaching the 8 inch or 9 inch third members to the axle housings. Steel washers will leak, made from copper which is a soft metal and seals under the attaching nuts. Copper washers like the OEM Ford installed washers. Takes 10 washers total for both 8 and 9 inch rear ends. *Tip - It is a good idea to inspect or replace your old washers, many times they have tool marks from the housing or nuts that cause small troublesome leaks.

These spacer / washers were used on the rear belts of 1968 - 1973 Cougars. 1968 used two per bolt for a total of eight, 69-71 used one per rear belt for a total of four and 72-73 used one per belt on the inner only as the outer belts had a re-tractor in the rear 72-73. They were red to guide the line workers on placement.
