Reproduction 60000 Mile 6 Month Lube Sticker for the 1967 - 1973 Mercury Cougar / Ford Mustang

This replica tag is of a lower quality than the originals were. The aluminum stock from which this Mercury Cougar A/C tag is made, is about half the thickness of original and the font, instead of being white, is unpainted aluminum. This is a cheap looking, and feeling, part compared to the original. We do have the clip that holds it in place. Check out the product images for an example of factory placement for this tag.

Unlike previous reproductions, these feature the correct magenta red background. Due to inconsistencies in the die cast center caps, you may have to trim a sliver off the edge to make them fit perfect. Sold individually.

Controversy abounds on which shrouds received these and which did not. It is our understanding that no early Cougars came from the factory with this decal installed. This decal first surfaced when Ford had major problems with their flex fans in the early 1970's. We will let you decide if it is correct for your application... This is placed on the top, center of the fan shroud.

Replaces Ford Part #: C8WB-17093-E. Notice this shows a crude line drawing of a Mustang but in fact carries a Cougar part number. This is the decal seen on most 1968 Cougars but many have a 1967 Mustang part number.
