This product is an NOS Part.
NOS items are OEM parts from Ford that have been sitting on shelves or in warehouses for years. These are often great examples of the orignal parts, but they may have scratches or other shelf wear.
However be aware that some NOS parts are "service replacement" parts. "Service replacement" parts are not exact replacements of the parts that were installed at the factory, but are what Ford considered as "good enough" and were used at Ford dealerships after the original supply of parts was exhausted.

Factory sealed NOS Cougar II "Those Famous Fords" #103 1/25 scale replica model kit from the Testors Corporation in Rockford Illinois. When the Cougar II was first shown in 1964, the press thought it was Ford's answer to the Stingray. In reality it was a teaser to get folks excited for the release of the actual Mercury Cougar which ended up looking nothing like the Cougar II concept car.
Box is slightly crushed in on one corner, but shouldn't effect the contents.
