This passenger side (right hand) reproduction emergency / parking brake cable idler bracket mounts to the right front floor pan. The idler bracket is often discarded when the floor pan is removed for replacement. We also have good used units in stock for those that desire 100% correctness.

New Old Stock center cap emblem for the Mercury Cougar with XR7 hubcaps / wheel covers. On the XR7 package, this concave aluminum applique was applied to the center of the hubcap / wheel cover. Called an applique. Used only in 1968 on the one style XR7 hubcap. Not sure why it has a 1969 part number, error? Ford part number C9WY-1137-A.

Good used base for the XR7G with no cracks. The Cougars equipped with air conditioning had the last few inches trimmed off. It is a rather rough, hand cut from the factory.  *NOTE* The base shown has been cut for AC.

These are used hose clamps that have a tab and fold over on them selves. These were dipped in a rubber like substance to prevent chaffing. The ones that we have available do have some cracking or damage to this coating. It should be easy to 'dip' them again with the product that is available in most hardware stores. We normally see 2 of these clamps, or straps bundling the hoses on most cars. These clamps should fit a variety of different Ford and Mercury products, not just Mustang and Cougar....

Stamped steel construction with black vinyl coating like the original to prevent corrosion. Please note that vinyl coating will almost always crack along edges shortly after installation, just like the originals did... Band or ring style factory exhaust pipe clamp. For 2-1/4 inch outside diameter exhaust pipes. Comes with a course sheet metal type hex head bolt. Ford part number C6AA-5A272-A. *Not all 1969 & 1970 Cougars had 2-1/4 inch tailpipes from the factory. Check the outside diameter of your current tailpipe for fitment. This fragile little clip attaches to the bottom outer edge of the front fender extension and holds the tail of the aluminum eyebrow moulding to the extension, one per side. This clip looks just like the smaller rear deck / trunk lid moulding clip but is larger (as our comparison picture shows). One clip per side is used to attach the tail end (larger end) of the moulding to the extension. Rarely will the clip you get look as good as the pictured here, usually the "finger" will be missing.
