This reproduction is pathetic... It's made from the same material as a cheap picnic table cloth (you know, the red checkered ones?) The only way you will ever get this plastic "table cloth type" mat to lay flat is to glue it down. They do however work well for catching oil spills under your Cougar when turned felt side up. Complete non assembled trunk pan kit. Included are the transition panel, trunk floors, rear taillight support and shock support. Replacement steel tube for all FE intake manifolds. Tube connects to water pump via a rubber hose. Fits all FE - 352, 390, 410, 427, 428 engines. Best to replace when intake manifold is removed to drive out the old rotted steel tube. We use a little silicone on the smooth surface prior to installation. The connecting hose (and clamps) to water pump normally got painted Ford engine blue from the factory.

Used tube with a tapered end for the vacuum modulator on 1967-68 Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang with drum brakes and C4 or automatic transmission, but without power drums or power disc brakes. This would be for the non-competition suspension Cougars. U-Bolt length 6-3/4 inches, and threads 1-1/4 inch in length. U-Bolts include two (2) correct style attaching nuts. Competition suspension U-Bolts run about 7 inches in length. Ford part number C7WY-5705-A for Competition Handling option.

These coarse thread nuts have an integrated lock washer with serations for the Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang. They will ONLY work with the U-Bolts used in conjunction with the lowering kits. The thread size is 7/16"-14. *NOTE* Eight of these are required per car and are sold individually.

Just about the only possible reason to put this poor quality reproduction on your Cougar is that it is a good tool to put out engine fires. No Joke! If you happen to have an engine fire you can carefully open your hood, yank the blanket downward and smother the fire by pushing the blanket tight around the area that is burning.
