Poly eyelet bushing that will fit any 1967 through 1973 Mercury Cougar. Replaces Ford Part #: C4DZ-5781-C.
This eyelet bushing is made from higher grade rubber and unlike the NOS and other reproductions has a solid center shaft. The center shaft of this reproduction is a flat piece of steel that is bent into a circle to make the shaft for the eyelet bolt to go through, just like NOS. This white plastic spacer fits into the back of the right hand inner knob on cars without factory fader or balance. If your inner knob is loose and will not align, you will want to see if this part is in place. 1968-70 AM-FM radios would not utilize this part because they have a balance feature. 1967 AM-FM radios would use this part as they did not have a balance feature. All the nuts, bolts, shims and washers needed to mount the bumper brackets to the frame and then the bumper to the bumper brackets. This kit includes foam looking washers to cover the bumper bolt holes. This is not technically correct. From the factory the originals would used a gooey tar based sealant that does not harden.

This is a Mustang kit and it includes 4 screws, 2 metal nuts, 2 self-threading plastic nuts and 2 anti-rattle bumpers as pictured.For Cougar, you need this kit plus 2 more plastic nuts, found here.
Correct Fit and finish for 1967, and works for 1968. Connects the overhead roof console to the mounting bracket. The only difference between the 67 and 68 kits are that the 67 screws are chrome and the 68 are zinc. The zinc will discolor over time, so we suggest using the 67 kit on a 68.
