This poster is a meticulous recreation of the 1968 original that Lincoln-Mercury dealerships had on display in their showrooms to advertise the Cougar XR7-G. We were able to have an original poster professionally scanned, the images were restored, and the text carefully recreated to match the original. The result is a fresh new version of a rare, iconic display piece.
This poster is the same size as the original, an impressive 36" x 48", and printed on nice heavy stock. If you don't have that much wall space, we've also made a more standard and affordable 24" x 36" version.
There was a typo on the original poster, where they misspelled "Couger" towards the end of the main body text. For this full size poster, we've decided to do both a "concours" version complete with this typo, as well as a corrected version. This listing is for the corrected text version.
