Keep in mind these will work on the Cougar but are designed for the Mustang which has a lower maximum spring travel. If your Cougar is lowered in the rear by an inch or more these will be spot on.Sold individually

The chrome body carries a C8GB-15A428-B engineering number and the pigtail has a C8WB-15A442-A engineering number imprinted on the wire. This grade "B" light bezel will have minor blemishes in the chrome as shown. Good part for a driver as it will not have deep pits. Does not include pigtail or lens. Left is the same as right. To remove pigtail from your existing light wrap socket in cloth to protect and grip firmly with a pair of pliers, rock back and forth while pulling and the plug and socket assembly should come right out from the back side. Replaces Ford part # C8WY-15A201-C.

Ford never offered this socket / plug assembly on its own but we do from time to time get one that has a clean socket and no cuts in the wiring. You can often just twist and pull (after the bulb has been removed) and it will come right out of the chrome housing. The Ford engineering number imprinted on the wire is C8WB-15A442-A.

Replaces Ford part #C8WY-15447. Sold as a pair, two required per car. Right is the same as left.
