C8ZZ-7210-A 4 Speed shift lever with round reverse lockout provision. For any 1968 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang until 1-2-1968. The early lever can be identified by measuring the distance between bolt holes. 1-13/16" spacing between the holes is the C8ZZ-7210-A lever. *Note - Must be used with Trunion C5ZZ-7210-D, sold separately.

Quality reproduction mirror for your 1968 Cougar. Whereas it is not easily detected at first glance, the head of the mirror does have a slightly different contour than original. The base is spot on perfect, the controller and cable assembly are all excellent quality. Fine scratches but great for the guy who wants original. The Reproduction does not have the II-DMI-6 lettering at the bottom like this original. You will have to carefully peel (roll back) the aluminum backing that is glued in place before gluing it in your mirror. If you use needle nose pliers and take your time it usually works fine. This snorkel was found on the XR7-G model with a 390 or 428 engine with the tall pent roof finned aluminum valve covers. The HERTZ model with the 390 engine used a chrome "Powered By Ford" chrome valve cover and did not need the extra length in the extension. This is a refurbished snorkel made from original parts. Very high quality construction.Ford part # C8WY-9A626-B.

This is a 1968 only part that is correct for Cougars equipped with the 390 GT "S" code motor. Whether your Cougar has the GT package or not, as long as it has a 4V 390 motor, this is the correct snorkel for your Cougar. The internal dimensions of the opening at the air cleaner base end measure 4 1/8" X 2 3/16", the flange mounting holes measure 5 1/2" on center. The opening for the S tube is 2 3/4". Please keep in mind that our hard to find parts like this are not always competitively priced...

This is the exact same cut of sound deadener as the tar based sound deadener, but cut out of the foil heatshield material, rather than the paper backed tar. This makes shipping this over seas much more affordable than the paper backed tar version of the underlayment kit.
