1968 Mercury Cougar

This unique to the 1968 standard Cougar trim set is what outlines the gauge cluster face pad. It is unique to the 1968 standard Cougar as it is held in place by spring clips. This trim part starts to the upper left of the gauge cluster and continues on to the passenger side following the line of the upper padded dash.

Of the three covers used on the 67-73 Cougars we find this one the most difficult to use. Will Not Work On Badly Distorted Dash Pads. The problem is not with the product but rather the design of the original dash pad. Unlike the 69-73 pads the 67-68 pads are prone to warping (sagging) badly. This used part comes carefully cut from a parts car and will include all mounting tabs. It is slightly different from the Mustang version as it has a different contour where the dash pad attaches.
