For attaching firewall sound deadening material to any 1967-68 Mercury Cougar Standard or XR7. 

New hex head screw for attaching the fuel filler neck to the rear body. 67 to 70 Mercury Cougar and 1965-70 Ford Mustang. 1965-68 filler necks require 4 of this style screws. 1969-70 filler necks require a total of 5 hex head screws. #10 x 3/8". Replaces Ford number 42120-S8.

Two needed per headlight bulb retaining ring. A total of 8 would be needed for a quad headlight system on all Cougars.Replaces Ford part number 375452-S.

We have found 3 different styles of separate screws that were used during the 1967-68 model run, San Jose and Dearborn may have accounted for a difference. Used unique Phillips bright finish screw that attaches cable guides to roof.

This is a very specialized screw that you do not want to fail or make do with an incorrect fitting or stripped screw. When removing your old screw you will most likely have to pull your pedal assembly and have a perfect fitting screw driver to remove the screw as the factory put them in very tight!

Set of 3 screws for installing the center air conditioning vent on 1967-68 Mercury Cougar XR7 models. Center vent mounts to the back side of the dash bezel with the 3 supplied screws. Check for cracks in the mounting holes in the dash plastic. Do not overtighten, make them 'just' snug. These will work with original or reproduction XR7 A/C center vents.

Fits all Mustangs, Cougars, Fords 65-70. Attaches the striker on the door pillar, the big screws. Little known fact: these aren't Phillips head screws, they are actually Pozi head / Pozi-Driv screws. While you can usually get a large Phillips screwdriver to work, the correct tool for these fasteners is a size 4 Pozi bit.

This 1/2" tall unique little screw was used on several different trim parts on the early Mercury Cougars. You will notice the reproduction has a larger head (The two on the right in the lower picture are repros) than both of the used versions typically found on 67-73 Cougars. This will be a benefit to those that have elongated screw holes on your wheel lip mouldings from corrosion or improper removal. 1969-70 actually used a star head bolt but these are a much more user friendly screw that will work in its place. Sold in a set of four which is what you will need for one seat.
