In the form that is shown, the application for this plastic base is for a non AC car with an automatic transmission. It can easily be cut for an A/C equipped car or a manual transmission, we offer the modification at no cost.
This base is designed for a 1967 standard with AT model but with slight modifications it will work on all models 67-68 manual and AT transmission vehicles.
Made from modern injection molded plastic, you will find this is a very sturdy base and the textured finish lends itself to easily being repainted with a product like SEM Flexible Coating. The original bases are stamped with an engineering number of C7ZB-65045B54-EW or C8ZB-65045B54-AW.
Much needed item for all the cracked, brittle, UV damaged bases out there. Item is custom boxed in a Styrofoam block and exact fit corrugated cardboard box. We have shipped dozens with no issues.
