Good used taillight lens with no cracks or heavy scratches. With a little effort you can make a lens like this look new. For the best results use a three step polish like NOVUS. This taillight at first glance looks as good as our grade "A" lens but when it is held to the light you will see a few stress cracks. Most of the 67-68 Cougars on the road are this way and so are most of the lenses in our yard. Used green dash turn signal indicator lens for the Mercury Cougar. This is for late 1967 through 1968 which uses the small housing. The early 1967 lens was taped to the back of the dash pad. Used on both the speedometer and tachometer lens. Comes with plastic keeper / washer that connects it from the backside of the lens. Sold individually, two required per cluster. These are in used condition as shown and need restoration. This item may require epoxy. The mounting stud on rear may not be present. It is plastic and originally melted over.

This was the inner air cleaner lid used on the Mercury Cougars equipped with a 428 Ram Air Cleaner or 429 Cobra Jet Ram Air Cleaner assembly. Although you will often find chrome under the blue engine paint on these lids they are in fact supposed to be painted from the factory. This lid is 14-1/8 inches in diameter. This particular mid-plate has a seemingly factory installed tab welded to the backside.  This unit was not found on a 1968 Mercury Cougar but does have the wrinkles indicative of a 68 lid.  The tab located at 12 o'clock makes it rather difficult to install the Air Cleaner to hood seal.
