Replaces Ford part # C9ZZ-2455-A. Features a longer arm than manual drum brake pedals as it mounts in a different place on the pedal hanger than a manual pedal. Works only with 1969 Bendix booster teardrop shaped power brake booster rod. The pictures below show a correct 1969 only pedal mounted to a 1969 Bendix booster and 1969 only hanger. Look at the pictures closely, many customers have found that their problems are a result of previous owners installing parts from other years. This pedal can be used in a 67 or 68 with power brakes if used with a 1969 Bendix (crimped together not banded) vacuum booster. Whereas you can use it with a Midland booster (banded type) it is technically not correct as there is no stop welded to the pedal which can cause the rod going into the booster to be pulled out in the unlikely event that the pedal had excessive upward pressure applied to it.
This pedal includes booster bushing, pedal bushings, spacer, and nut and bolt.
