    Reproduction brake light switch for the Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang equipped with both power drum or disc brakes. This switch fits the 1967-68 for power drum or disc brake applications, and 1969-70, this switch fits power disc brake applications. Ford called this unit the stop lamp switch.

    Replaces Ford Part #: C7ZZ-13480-B or C9ZZ-13480-B.

    Regarding the '68 Cougar brake light switch: should I also plan on replacing the old clips and bushings shown on your cool schematic when I install the new switch? If yes - where do I buy those bits? Thanks - xr7s427

    It would be advisable, but maybe not absolutely necessary, depending on how warn the parts are on your car. Those are pretty inexpensive and can all be found under the related items section on this page, or in the suggested items popup when you add this item to your cart.
