1969 Mercury Cougar

This is a reproduction 3 piece non assembled torque box for the driver side on the 69 - 70 Cougar or Mustang Coupe. The benefit of getting a non assembled torque box is that you'll find installation much easier as compared to the pre-assembled boxes.  Included are inner and outer panels and gusset. Passenger side non-assembled torque boxes are not available.

Manufacturer calls this a torque pin kit, it consists of 3 pins. Pin diameter is 1/2 inch and are 13/32 inches long. Made from natural nylon. Fits most Ford vehicles with power windows from 1964 - 1973+.

These long rods are installed horizontally in your trunk and attach to the trunk lid hinges. We only remove these bars in pairs from cars that demonstrate that they can in fact support the weight of the deck lid on their own. We do not save rusty, bent or weak springs. This reproduction is pathetic... It is made from the same material as a cheap picnic table cloth (you know, the red checkered ones?) The only way you will ever get this plastic "table cloth type" mat to lay flat is to glue it down. They do however work well for catching oil spills under your Cougar when turned felt side up. The correct dark gray speckled pattern for 71 - 73 is not available with this mat. No returns on this product, we suggest no mat is a better alternative than this poor...

Replacement steel tube for all FE intake manifolds. Tube connects to water pump via a rubber hose. Fits all FE - 352, 390, 410, 427, 428 engines. Best to replace when intake manifold is removed to drive out the old rotted steel tube. We use a little silicone on the smooth surface prior to installation. The connecting hose (and clamps) to water pump normally got painted Ford engine blue from the factory.
