The Wittek Company manufactured the tower clamps used on the Cougar from 1967 to 1973, the Mustang from 1964 1/2 to 1973, as well as many other Ford and Mercury cars during that period. In October or 1993, the company filed for bankruptcy. This has made the tower clamp unavailable to the classic car restorer. This is the best made, most correct Mercury Cougar trunk mat on the market (Mustang mats will not fit). Made of heavy die-cut vinyl with correct gray and black plaid pattern.
